New Business Focus...
| Previously we announced a new strategy for WISE.CO.UK and we are now in a position to explain this more fully. We have changed our business to focus on the provision of Consultancy, Innovation & Solutions for small businesses and consequently we will no longer be reselling self-study training courses, nor providing eCommerce and web services. |
We shall be supplying Cloud Solutions from market leaders GFI, (see above).

News & Other Updates
Each month we will feature some of the recent regulatory updates or other important news affecting small businesses:
New Government
With the new Conservative/LibDem Coalition in its first days of government, we are expecting to see a number of changes, while many of the less popular regulations and policies from the previous government are set to be overturned. So rather than report on recent changes from HMRC and other bodies, we'll hold off in anticipation of being able to report on more business-friendly news in the near future.
In the meantime the Conservative/LibDem Coalition has published a document outlining its policies and what it is setting out to achieve during the coming term of government. A PDF copy of this document can be downloaded from our website.

FSB Herts Small Business Awards
Well done to all of you who took part in this year's FSB Herts Small Business Awards. The number and standard of entries was even higher this year. Congratulations go to all of the finalists who assembled at the awards ceremony at Tewin Bury Farm on 13th May, and especially to the winners.
